Built In Safety and Security

Every B&D garage door opener comes with essential safety features as standard, and there are plenty of ways to add extra protection.

    Automatic Reverse and Backdrive

    Standard on all B&D openers. The door stops and reverses if it meets an obstruction, and automatic backdrive helps keep the door shut if someone tries to force it open.
  • Wireless Safety Beams

    Ground level infrared sensors activate as the door starts to close. If the beam is broken, even for a split second, the door stops straight away.
  • Auto-Lock

    A heavy duty bolt engages automatically when the door closes and can only be released by a compatible B&D opener, helping resist forced entry.
  • Smartphone Control

    Open and close your garage door from anywhere, and get an alert if it has been left open for too long.
  • Tri-Tran+ Remotes

    Lightweight, encrypted remotes with reliable operation and extended range, protected against code grabbing devices.
